1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting services, submitting a form on our website, communicating with Grounded Tree Services by phone, email, or text message, or accepting an estimate, you agree to the Terms of Service outlined below.

Grounded Tree Services reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Services Provided

Grounded Tree Services provides professional tree care services, including but not limited to:

  • Tree trimming and pruning
  • Tree removal
  • Clearance pruning
  • Risk mitigation trimming
  • Storm cleanup
  • Debris removal

All services are performed in accordance with recognized industry standards and International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) best practices. Scope of work will be defined in your approved estimate.

3. Estimates & Approvals

All estimates are provided electronically through our customer management system (Jobber).

  • Work will not begin until the estimate has been reviewed and formally approved.
  • Pricing reflects only the scope of work detailed in the estimate.
  • Any additional services requested outside of the original scope may require a revised estimate and approval prior to work being performed.

Grounded Tree Services reserves the right to adjust pricing if site conditions differ materially from what was visible or disclosed at the time of estimate.

4. Communication & Text Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text communications from Grounded Tree Services related to:

  • Estimate scheduling
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Service updates
  • Job-related communication
  • Invoices and payment reminders
  • Follow-up messages regarding completed services

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your project and communication needs. Most customers receive appointment reminders and service-related updates.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying:

5. Payments

Payment is due according to the terms specified on your invoice.

We accept approved forms of payment as listed on your invoice. Late payments may result in additional fees, service suspension, or collection actions where applicable.

Grounded Tree Services reserves the right to require deposits for certain projects.

6. Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Clear and safe access to the work area
  • Removal of vehicles and personal property from the designated work zone
  • Pets are secured during service
  • Disclosure of known underground utilities, irrigation lines, septic systems, or hidden hazards

Grounded Tree Services is not responsible for pre-existing property damage, concealed conditions, or items left within the work zone.

7. Limitation of Liability

Tree work involves inherent risks due to natural conditions and environmental factors.

While Grounded Tree Services takes all reasonable safety precautions, we are not liable for:

  • Hidden decay, rot, or structural defects within trees
  • Pre-existing tree instability or failure
  • Unforeseen underground utilities or structural conditions
  • Damage resulting from conditions not visible or disclosed prior to service

Liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the services rendered.

8. Weather Delays

For safety reasons, services may be postponed or rescheduled due to severe weather conditions, including high winds, lightning, heavy rain, or other unsafe working environments.

We will communicate any schedule adjustments as promptly as possible.
